The 2022-23 Union budget has taken digitization of healthcare to a new level, especially with the announcement of an open platform for National Digital Health Ecosystem. This platform will consist of digital registries of health providers and facilities, unique health identity and universal access to health facilities.
With these developments taking place across, the focus of our next webinar is on: Pioneering a New Age in Citizen Services – Healthcare Innovation, Redefined
Taking the learnings from the COVID-19 pandemic forward, India's public healthcare infrastructure is in ramp up mode. The government is encouraging states to speed up integration and implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), harnessing tech innovations to democratise access to all healthcare services.
Starting with a Keynote Address by Dr Praveen Gedam, ACEO, NHA highlighting the future plan and vision of NHA to further contribute to the healthcare ecosystem in the country, the webinar will be followed by a panel discussion on How States are ramping up ABDM implementation, as a platform for state health policymakers and technology experts to share insights on this theme.
For instance, state health officials will showcase how they are scaling up public healthcare services in their states towards this same goal of providing meaningful citizen-centric affordable, accessible health services like teleconsultations, digital health records, health insurance models and health ids down to every district level.
In turn, industry experts will share valuable insights on the impact of technological innovations to power teleconsultations, electronic health record systems, digital health ids, and can thus help democratise healthcare, by helping to scale up existing services beyond metros and Tier 2/3 cities.
